Hi Members,
We collect $5.00 dues for this group starting with once the new member has decided to be a part of the group (usually after 2 times), and then collected annually after that time in the anniversary month of member's join date.
The dues go towards the bi-annual subscription to meetup.com who hosts our site, and other related expenses such as name badges, our domain name (SOCWBC.org) & (so a checking acct. could be opened) a Fictitious Business Name, South Orange County Women’s Book Club, all of which was set up in 2009, and a post office box, so my personal address is not published. Other expenses could include holiday party, group events, point-of-purchase, and misc. such as reimbursement to a member, or photocopies.
If it is your anniversary month of your SOCWBC join date, OR you are a ‘new member’ who has attended 2 or more meetings, please mail your dues to the below address, or you can also pay in person, if you plan on attending the next Meetup on Feb. 24 or the Classic Book Meetup on March 10, 2010.

Thank you for your support of South Orange County Women's Book Club, and making it the very best book club possible. Remember there are many opportunities to be active in the club through the Book Selection Committee, Event Hosting, and participating in the group meetups. You can also ask me, or one of the other asst. organizers how you can be more involved if you'd like to take a more active role! We have a great group of Women, and all of you make it a happy, fun and interesting group!
