Hi Ladies,
The actual meeting room is the Saddleback Room, #2, inside City Hall, not the Library. Both the Library and City Hall area and share a parkling lot.
The meeting room is at the right end of the main entrance of City Hall. Enter through the outside door that is to the right of the main entrance. There are Block letters on the wall that say Saddleback Room. It is also next to the small Park at the end of the brick-laid parking area.
You can start arriving at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7:00 pm sharp.
If you have not already done so, please take the Poll. This will help reduce the time in deciding on the selection hopefully.
Charge:
There will be a fee of $3.30 (if all 30 show up). I will collect money on the day of the event.
RSVPs
Please change your RSVP if you do not plan to come so others may sign up, and to try ensure I have enough to cover the Library's charge.
Anyone who would like to attend, please RSVP with "Waitlist, please" or similar to that.
We will be meeting at the Mission Viejo library from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm.
I compiled the Book List from the member profiles and Event Page comments. There is also a poll you can take, which will be a guage, but not the final determination.

I love this list. I have wanted to read so many of these books. I have been so busy keeping up with the literature I have needed to teach that I have had to bypass many good books. How exciting it is that we have such a great list.
The MV Library has a $50 setup charge if we have more than 30 members show up, so please if you are not a yes and want to attend, call me on the day of the event @ 949-335-2688. I would like to make sure we have 30 members coming, so we pay a minimum amount per person. If you are a yes and not going to attend, please change your RSVP ASAP! Also if you want to attend, but had to RSVP "No" (the only option now), please put "waitlist please". Thanks, looking forward to our first meeting.
Regarding the book we choose, I will be emailing the selection to all members, not just the mailing list. I will also post to the Message Board, and it will become the Book Cover, I think, for the group, or at least the event.
So far I have 2 Carafes of Starbucks Coffee (one Decaf) thanks to Y'vette. Beth is bring cookies, and Tammy (TnT) will being an appetizer. Looks like we are getting off to a good start. Anyone want to bring Sodas, ice. I can provide cups and ice holder.
I am pretty sure there will be some no shows, so I added 5 to Maybe that Indicates the waitlist and told them all they can come. Will see how it pans out but if I have 35 I can charge less per person, and if I get dinged for having more I'll cross the bridge if it come up. I have 3 wooden chairs and one metal one. Anyone else want to bring a couple?
What's on the 'spread' Coffee (regular & decaf), cookies, and more cookies, surprise appetizer :)
Viv is bring plates, cups, plasticware, Heather is bringing Soda and Chips, Jasmine is bringing a veggie or fruit tray. Y'vette is bringing Starbucks coffee (Awesome!), Kathy and Irene are bringing cookies (Yum) and Tammy is bringing an appetizer (can't wait)! Most important Just bring Yourself :)
Great first meeting! Very nice group, good ideas for books to read and good discussion. Rebecca did a great job. I'm looking forward to future meetings!
Hi - Looking through the profiles "Secret Life of Bees" came up more than once, as well as author Jodi Piccoult. Kathy also suggested "Water for Elephants". All 3 of which are on the NY Times Best Seller Lists.
