SOCWBC July Read- The Help

Panera Bakery (map)

Selected By: Liz

July's read is The Help by Kathryn Stockett. Several of our members have read and enjoyed the book. It has spent over 50 weeks on the Best Sellers list! Unfortunately it is only available in hard cover. Since it has been out for over a year we hope that people will be able to locate used or library copies.

I have a copy of the book for Mobipocket reader that I can share if anyone uses that medium. I've already finished the book, so I'll be glad to share the copy. I could try e-mailing it or uploading it to a share drive. Anyone interested? Let me know. Patty

It was very interesting to hear how people personally related to the time and culture of the book. I enjoyed the discussion very much.
